Launching in 2026!
What is Borrow it Winchester?
Borrow it Winchester is a community library where you can borrow items for a small fee, rather than purchasing and storing items that are only used rarely / occasionally.
Simply, we don’t need to own all the items we use because :
-
we might only use them a few days a year
-
we may not have space to store them the rest of the time
-
we can’t afford to own all of them
-
we want to reduce the amount we own and reduce usage of raw materials.
Borrow it Winchester allows you, as a member, to borrow items for a short time at a small cost.
Join Borrow it Winchester
You must first become a member before borrowing with Borrow it Winchester.
Included in our membership is access to all of our items, which are available to borrow for short periods of time.
The current pilot membership fee is £1.00 and lasts for six months. Each item has a borrowing fee every time it’s borrowed. The borrowing fee for each item is shown in the list of items.
If you’d like any clarification on our membership, don’t hesitate to email us at hello@borrowitwinch.org.uk
Who can become a member?
